I am 61 year old and have been attending Raymonde's yoga classes for less than a year. Here's what it has done for me. It makes me feel good! I have had a great deal of stress in my life recently and yoga helps to relieve that stress. It has also helped me in my job working with children as my flexibility has improved significantly. On Saturday nights I like to go dancing and I can now dance the night away without getting achy or out of breath.

I have found Raymonde's classes to be very helpful to my overall feeling of well being, for myself it gives me more energy, and a positive attitude, a better outlook of life, less stress. Raymonde's class is great for me as we all go at our own pace. Raymonde is very encouraging and her motto is "No gain with pain". Her class exercises works all the different part of the body, it is very gentle yoga. And she comes around and adjusts your body posture.

When I turned forty, I finally decided to make sometime for "me" So, I joined the local gym. While I enjoyed the physical workout, I still felt that something was missing. At times, I would leave the gym still feeling uptight, and stressed. So I tried Yoga. I have noticed three distinct changes since I started practicing yoga 10 months ago.

Physically, my flexibility has increased tremendously. It is now so easy to turn around completely while backing my van out of a parking lot.

Emotionally, yoga has taught me to slow down and relax. Relaxation is a lot more difficult than one imagines. But with practice, it is possible to forget your worries and concentrate on nothing but breathing.

Spiritually, yoga has tapped into my inner self. I now find myself looking at life's experiences differently. The superficial daily stresses are now much easier to overlook and brush aside. Yoga has helped me connect my inner self with my outer self.

I am a recreational athlete that likes to compete in marathons, 10k and triathlons. My Ashtunga yoga class is one of the best workouts I get all week. Yoga has helped to develop power, balance and flexibility. My workouts are more intense and I have fewer injuries. It is like having a massage and chiropractic session all in one. Yoga makes it easier to get more out of everyday. Yoga has created a heightened awareness of the body and sharpened the mind.

Raymonde is a wonderful teacher and coach. I have watched our class develop confidence and knowledge in the benefits of yoga as we become more advanced each week. The work outs have been just as much fun as the end result.
